Much Awaited Event

Sadhguru's visit to Bangalore
It all started when we attended the volunteers meet on 21st November. The only thought "What can I do for my Guru" stamped all the "What about me"s and stretched my physical limitations. Although I had to go on telling "Sadhguru is coming to Bangalore" "Sadhguru is coming to Bangalore" more than a hundred times, I felt wonderfull when infoming the public that my Guru is comming to Bangalore. I feel thinking about the Guru in some way or the other is a great sadhana on its own. Volunteering went by very fast and soon, the day dawned when Sadhguru had to come to Bangalore. Kapila Akka and I were standing in the reception with brochures. The brochures flew out of our hands like as though a strong wind was blowing. It seemed like there was no end to the people entering the hall. As the crowd increased, we all felt very happy.  Then suddenly, I was informed that Sadhguru was already inside the hall. From outside, we saw him. Slowly, tears of joy rolled down my cheeks. Since I was in the reception, I was unable to listen to Sadhguru's conversation properly. The next day, Sadhguru was conducting sathsang for all the meditators. I expected the same to happen to me the next day as well. I consoled myself. Even if I sit in the last row, His grace will always be there.
The next day arrived soon. I got a call from Abhi akka that I was in the practice correction. She asked me to finish correction and be seated in the front row. I couldn't believe my ears! Front row!! Infront of Sadhguru! I couldn't control my tears!
In the sathsang, I saw a different Sadhguru. It was like a father was sitting and sharing his experience with his children. For everything, my response was only tears, tears and more silent tears. I did not intend to stop my tears at all. If not in front of the Guru, then where else shall I shed my tears? The experience i gained from Sadhguru is not explainable. Hearing the "Maha Devaya Namaha" song, sitting under the same roof under which Sadhguru is also seated... what else does a meditator want?
"Thank you" is a very small word to thank all the people who are instrumental in arranging Sadhguru's visit to Bangalore.
Thank you volunteers; Thank you organizers... Thanks everyone!

Sadhguru's Bangalore visit

Primarily, I would like to tell you all about my trip to Thiruvannamalai. On 26th of November 2010, we went to Tvmallai. The usual scorching sun was absent during our journey and it was indeed very pleasant and cool. At first we went to Ramana Ashram. In this place we went Kanda Ashram. It is about 1.5 km inside the boundaries of Ramana Ashram (on a hill). Ramana Maharishi sat over there and meditated. It is a small room behind which there is a small waterfall. We sat inside and meditated for a while. The power of the place was so immense that it pulled me. I didn't want to get up and go. The place was so full of energy. After that we went to Virupaksha cave. I have no words to explain this place... you just have to go and experience it! The story of the cave goes like this. Once, there was a sage from K'taka who travelled from there to here. He sat in the cave and sent his disciples out. When the disciples came back to check on their master, they discovered that he had become Vibhuthi (sacred ash). Ramana Maharishi took this Ash and made a Shivalinga out of it. He spent approximately 17 years in this cave. We reluctantly came down from there and went to the sathsang ground. As we entered the ground, the volunteers stood in a line on both sides and said "namaskaram" to us. It was a very touching scene! We sat inside. The preparations were going on and everyone was gearing up for Sadhguru's visit. Slowly, the ground filled up and believe me, there were around 20,000 people! As Sadhguru entered, the place was filled with some new energy. His talk was excellent as usual and the meditation was also very powerfull. By nine'o clock, the sathsang was over, with tears brimming in ours as well as Sadhguru's eyes. Later we went for Girivalam.  The next day, after our kriya, we had our breakfast. The breakfast was indeed very tasty! Idli, dosa, pongal, vada, sambar, chutney and bread... YUM! After the breakfast we went to the temple. Lord Arunachala was impressed with our prayers, I believe. He gave us a bonus... Sadhguru was in the temple!! Not once, not twice but we saw him four times in four different places inside the temple. It was a memorable day in our lives.

I am quite sure such magical moments will happen to us in Bangalore as well. I want to inform all of you that Sadhguru is comming to visit us on 21st December in Palace grounds (White petals hall), at 6:30 am for meditators and 6:30 pm for general public. Come one, come all!
